GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Article 1 – Definitions

Reflection period:
The period within which the consumer can exercise his right of withdrawal.

Consumer:
The natural person who enters into an agreement with Karigram and who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business.

Right of withdrawal:
The consumer's right to cancel the distance contract within the cooling-off period.

Entrepreneur:
Karigram, established at [address], registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number [Chamber of Commerce number], VAT number [VAT number].

Distance contract:
An agreement concluded between Karigram and the consumer via the website www.karigram.com , using exclusively electronic means of communication.

Article 3 – Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements concluded between Karigram and the consumer via www.karigram.com .

Article 4 – Acceptance of the terms and conditions

  1. When placing an order, the consumer must explicitly agree to these terms and conditions. Without this agreement, no order can be placed.
  2. These general terms and conditions are made available to the consumer before completing the order and are available at all times via www.karigram.com .

Article 5 – The offer

  1. The offer contains the most accurate description possible of the products offered. Images are for illustrative purposes only and provide a realistic representation of the products. Due to their handmade nature, slight variations in color, pattern, or finish may occur.
  2. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind Karigram.

Article 6 – The Agreement

  1. The agreement is concluded when the consumer places an order via the website and the payment has been successfully completed.
  2. After placing the order, the consumer will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Article 7 – Right of withdrawal

  1. The consumer has the right to cancel the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days after receiving the product.
  2. Karigram may ask the consumer for the reason for cancellation, but the consumer is not obliged to provide this.
  3. The cooling-off period commences on the day after the consumer, or a third party designated by him, has received the product, or:
    a. if the consumer has ordered multiple products in one order: the day on which the last product was received;
    b. if an order consists of multiple shipments or parts: the day on which the last shipment or part was received.

Article 8 – Obligations of the consumer during the cooling-off period

  1. During the cooling-off period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care.
  2. The consumer may only handle and inspect the product as they would be allowed in a physical store.
  3. The consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the use that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
  4. The product should be returned in its original condition and packaging, if possible.

Article 9 – Exercise of the right of withdrawal and costs

  1. If the consumer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, he must notify Karigram of this within 14 days of receipt of the product using the model withdrawal form or in another unambiguous manner.
  2. After notification of withdrawal, the consumer must return the product within 14 days .
  3. The product must be returned with all supplied accessories and, if reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging.
  4. The risk and burden of proof for a correct and timely return lies with the consumer.
  5. The direct costs of return shipment are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
  6. After a correct cancellation, the consumer will receive the paid amount back within 14 days after receipt of the return shipment.

Article 10 – Obligations of Karigram upon revocation

  1. Karigram will confirm receipt of the revocation notification by email.
  2. Karigram will refund all payments received from the consumer, including the original shipping costs (provided the entire order is returned), within 14 days of the cancellation notification.
  3. Karigram may wait with refunding until the product has been received or until the consumer proves that the product has been returned.
  4. Refunds will be made using the same payment method the consumer used, unless otherwise agreed. Refunds are free of charge for the consumer.

Article 11 – Price and payment

  1. All prices on www.karigram.com include VAT and exclude shipping costs, unless otherwise stated.
  2. Payment is made via the payment methods offered during the ordering process.
  3. The order will only be shipped after full payment has been received.

Article 12 – Delivery

  1. Delivery will take place at the address specified by the consumer.
  2. Orders are typically shipped within 2–5 business days unless otherwise noted.
  3. The risk of damage or loss of products rests with Karigram until the moment of delivery to the consumer.

Article 13 – Warranty and conformity

  1. Karigram guarantees that the products comply with the agreement and with reasonable expectations of quality and usability.
  2. Slight variations in colour, pattern or finish due to the handmade nature of the products do not constitute a defect.
  3. Improper use or care of products is not covered by the warranty.

Article 14 – Complaints procedure

  1. Complaints about the performance of the agreement must be reported to Karigram by email as soon as possible, and preferably within 14 days of discovery, fully and clearly described.
  2. Karigram aims to respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt.

Article 15 – Disputes and applicable law

  1. Dutch law applies to all agreements between Karigram and the consumer.
  2. This is without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of the country in which the consumer resides.
  3. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

Article 16 – Additional provisions

Handmade character
Our products are handmade and may therefore exhibit slight variations. These characteristics are part of the product's authenticity.

Limited stock
Many products are unique or available in limited editions. If a product is unexpectedly unavailable, the consumer will receive a refund.

Textile care
Due to the handmade and often natural nature of our products, we recommend handling them with care. For longer life, hand washing in cold water is recommended, without using harsh or strong detergents. Using washing machines, hot water, or strong detergents may damage the fabric and/or cause colors to fade. Damage resulting from incorrect washing or care instructions is not covered by the warranty.

Delivery time for import
When a product is specially imported, delivery times may be longer. This will be clearly communicated before the order is completed.

Allergies and sensitivities
Our products are carefully crafted and often consist of handmade and/or natural materials. Despite careful composition and description of materials, Karigram cannot guarantee that products are suitable for individuals with specific allergies, skin sensitivities, or other medical conditions. It is the consumer's responsibility to check the suitability of a product before use, especially if you have known allergies or sensitivities. Reactions resulting from individual sensitivities are not considered a product defect.
